Skill Development Classes

Offensive Skill Development (Boys- U11, U13, U15 | Girls- Youth)

Our Offensive Skill Development classes use a comprehensive, offensive skill curriculum to develop each player. Sessions will address and improve individual offensive skill sets. In our Skill Development program, our staff of NCAA coaches, professional players and area HS coaches will put each player on a progressive curriculum of fundamental skills including ground balls, passing, shooting, and dodging. The goal of this plan is to develop a player who is ready to make a varsity impact at the high school level.

Advanced Offensive Techniques (Boys- U17, U19 | Girls- High School)

Our Advanced Offensive Techniques class builds an advanced skill set based off our Offensive Skill Development curriculum. Sessions will improve individual offensive skills and team concept knowledge. Advanced skills covered include feeding the shooter, developing an NCAA-ready shot, and advanced dodge footwork. The goal of this plan is to develop a player who is ready to make an impact for a college team at the next level.

Face Off Club (Boys- Youth, High School)

Faceoff club coaches are a rare breed of warriors who have reached a level of faceoff dominance in our careers. We are committed to giving back to the lacrosse community for all of the great opportunities that our faceoff success has afforded us.

When you are in Faceoff Club:

Girls Draw Instruction (Girls- Youth, High School)

Learn from the best of the best. Our coaches have dominant NCAA experience, and a passion for teaching the technique of the draw. Draw controls are one of the most important aspects of lacrosse. Learn to dominate the draw, and you will be a key component to a winning team.

First Step Goalie Instruction (Combined Boys & Girls- Youth)

So you've decided to become a goalie. We bet most people have asked you "what in the world are you thinking?!" It takes a rare breed to step inside a 36 square foot cage while a solid rubber comes flying at you at 80+ mph. This class will teach you how to improve your chances of making sure that ball does not hit the back of that net. We use a progressive curriculum of fundamental to advanced skills. Focus will be on hand position, foot work, mental abilities and having a "next play" mentality.

Next Step Goalie Class (Combined Boys & Girls- High School)

For the net minder that has been facing shots for years, this class is designed to prepare you for whatever an offense might throw at you "next". Players are always going to be bigger, stronger, and faster at the next level. If you plan on competing for the most coveted position on a lacrosse field at the NCAA level, this class will get you there!

Defensive Skill Development (Boys- U11, U13, U15 | Girls- Youth)

Our defensive skill development classes use a comprehensive, defensive skill set to advance each individual athlete. In our defensive skill development program, our staff of local MLL players, NCAA coaches, and HS coaches will instruct on the importance of the athlete's feet and less so of his/her stick to play defense. Curriculum will also include proper communication between defenders and how to defend from specific spots on the field.

Becoming an Elite Defender (Boys- U17, U19 | Girls- High School)

This class is designed for the defensive player with his/her sights set on playing at the NCAA level. While we will start with some of the basics taught in the defensive skill development class, we will also teach defenders when and where to throw stick checks, the appropriate check to use, defending in an odd man situation as well as stick skills to improve their clearing game.
